The celebration was held at the My Royal Palace in California. The decor idea was to truly make guests feel like they were up in the clouds.
As guest arrived they were greeted by an 'Up, up, and away!' sign and hot air balloons floating up above the welcome table. Guest left there wishes /love on a hot air balloon cards and dropped into a miniature hot air balloon.I wanted the guests to feel like they were about to go on a hot air balloon ride.
The dining tables were covered with a soft white linen and paired with accents red runner. For the centerpieces, we hand handmade miniature hot air balloon with a tea light.
White blue with an accent of red balloons anchored the tables and added a touch of whimsy to this up, up and away birthday party.
The cake was a statement piece. Carefully decorated to match the theme, it was breathtaking.
We made a life-sized hot air balloon for the kids to take photos in. It made for some adorable photos.
