A day in a Event/Party planners life!

Glamorized by movies like 'The Wedding Planner'  some clients/friends say I do decoration/planning myself all the time but now I don't have time !! 
Many are under the impression that Event/Party planning is a breeze, just because you search some Pinterest ,create boards and do it ! 
But is it truly a breeze? We think not.
 
We are in the industry for 3-4 years almost and we are one of Indian party planners in Bay area to be featured in many American blogs and wedding magazine . We have coordinated many parties/events and weddings. Yet no two events/party are the same.
 Many  planners have a different approach to work with but we believe in customizing and adding unique elements that reflect the personality of the each individuals. Right from vibrant to subtle, beautiful celebrations to robust revelries, we have tailored each event to make them different and special.Trying to plan the perfect event within the bounds of a snug budget is another difficult challenge to beat . 
 A  planner’s life is ruled by lists. A master list, sub lists, list of tasks for each coordinator, a list for the caterer, florist, travel, venue and of course a list of lists… As we check, recheck and double check each and every item off our list, a dream event happens on the cue. 
Special flowers, unique décor, special guests, last-minute travel plans, venue woes, special food requirements, we have catered to many little things that never made it to our list in the first place. We believe that every little thing that we do adds to make your big day memorable and special. Our passion for creativity has transformed us into one of the distinct and unique planners in Bay  available today. Now with so much resources on social media it is easy to think anyone can do it ,now we have seen so many planners come and go in these years around us . But it all comes down to execution on the day of event , dealing with unexpected surprises and maintaining the 'The coolness '. Event planning is not a career for the unadventurous; it requires an energetic, fun-loving personality and above all passion . 


What makes us the unique/different ?  
Let's not ponder long on this question because the answer is simple. We just have to wear different hats to keep the show running. In this profession, we need to just respond to any kind of unexpected with a open mind  and be prepared for anything. You need to have a finger on the time and at the same time, make sure that the flowers are fresh. Did the caterer get those extra tissues and did that beautician make it on time? It involves juggling every element of the event, so it comes together to form a smooth experience that accomplishes its goal, create a memorable, picture-perfect ceremony.

 For a short while, we become the BFF  ,talking every single day . We understand their fears and take all their stress so that they get to enjoy their ‘day’. In the end, we think that’s what matters the most and one of the biggest perks of this profession is that we get to design somebody’s dream and bring it to fruition. We have clients who come to us again and again only because they want to enjoy the day that they have paid for and not get stressed and our only guarantee is that we would make it worth their while.
